On Saturday, October 25th, Queen City Musicians will present "Coffin Break" a musical event at Q Cafe in Interbay. Queen City Musicians is Seattle based and "..actively performs rarely heard operatic and vocal works alongside the familiar repertoire from the sixteenth through eighteenth centuries. Queen City Musicians promotes local emerging vocal and instrumental specialists of Western performance practices with other musicians from across the United States to perform these works in the Pacific Northwest."

Tickets $25/$22*, Free Admission for students with a Cornish I.D. October 25, 2014 @ 7:30 PM Q Cafe, 3223 15th Avenue W Seattle WA Coffin Break, a stimulating early music concert celebrates Halloween with delightful ghostly and ghastly music by Queen City Musicians ala' Orchestra of Decayed Musicians. Compositions by Vivaldi, Handel, Purcell and Shakespeare were expertly chosen by co-directors Ariel Bradler and Julianna Emanski to titillate audiences with these forgotten masterpieces. Coffin Break cast includes singers: Erin Calata, Mezzo-soprano Madeline Bersamina, Soprano Julianna Emanski, Soprano Bryan Lane, Tenor Scott Willis, Baritone And instrumentalists: Joshua Romatowski, Baroque flute Ron Evans, Baroque bassoon Nicholas Loucks, Baroque cello Patrick D. Morgan, Harpsichord Christine Beckman, Baroque violin Reynaldo Patiño, Baroque violin *Tickets are $22 when purchased before the show and are $25 at the door. Free admission for Cornish Students. For fun, dress up in your Halloween costume and earn a chance to win tickets to the January show 'Ode for St. Cecilia' by Handel.
